With Cooke's history I really think that Campbell missed out on a golden opportunity to send a message to the Pens management as far as what will not be tolerated. A four game suspension is a good amount of time for a player like Paille, but for this goon really it should have been more like ten games. I would be happy to hold the press conference. It would go something like this:
"We have warned the player in question time and time again, imposed suspensions and fines time and time again, and still no change. This time we are making sure the message is being received properly that this type of conduct will not be tolerated in the league. 10 game suspension nuff said!"
