These quotes just kill me.
Stay with the Lions and make $100 million, or go to Miami and make $114 million. Never know when an emergency arises and you'll need that extra 14 mill. (Like for paying future NFL fines.)

Well, Bar, my Hawks just lost the #3 spot to the Wild (who beat the Kings yesterday). I watched that game too. The Wild are doing everything right and peaking at the right time. Meanwhile the Hawks look slow and out of sync. At least the Blues lost.

Coach Q keeps juggling the lines in Chicago too. Like you said, after some 90 games (and this close to the playoffs), it's not a good sign that "team messages" are being sent via line shuffling. I'm worried.

As for who would I like to see them play? That's a tough one. The Hawks actually have a winning record against EVERY Western Conference team. But the way they're playing lately, you wouldn't know it.

TKO & Bar, did you guys hear about the NCAA Frozen Four game between Providence and Miami (Ohio)? Providence held a commanding 6-2 lead into the 3rd period. Miami pulled their goalie with 12 minutes (more than half the period) and scored 3 goals to make the score 6-5. Miami came within inches of tying the game with 30 seconds left, but Providence finally scored in the open net and won 7-5. Wow.

TKO & Bar... was going through some picture files (for my sister) and ran across a photo of my parents with Dominic Hasek. Pretty cool story behind it: My uncle was shopping in a grocery store in Venice, FL and heard a young couple speaking Czech. So he approached and (long story short) Hasek's wife's English wasn't very good, so he asked if they wanted to come over for dinner and some Czech conversation.

The Dominator, his wife and their young son came over and they snapped a few photos with my parents.

Never heard of that game, Joe. Crazy! Though I'm not your typical Canadian, I'd prefer nine innings to three periods. So, unless it's a playoff game in the NHL, I'm probably not aware.
