Not sure if the board had heard, but after Cody Parkey ended the Bears season last week by missing the 43-yard field goal, armchair kickers around Chicago boasted they could make that kick.

So the local Goose Island brewery took them up on it and arranged a kicking challenge, complete with prizes and everything.

The contest was limited to the first 100 would-be kickers. Any guesses as to how many of the 100 made the 43-yarder?

Zero.

Just an update. Local news said that there were actually 103. Not 100. Same results. But the news said one if the better kicks was straight enough but fell 8 yards short. (So basically, he didn't have the leg to make an extra point.)

In my twenties, I kicked plenty of 50's, but always screwing around, never any pressure of a competition, certainly never any game situations. And even then, there was zero consistency. I could make two in a row, and miss the next fifteen. I never once thought it would've been a good idea to even attempt to try out for a kicking job at even the college level. Silly rabbits

no doubt he didn't realize that there were any cameras in a shady FL strip mall Rub n Tug parlor, but agree completely here, when you got the itch, his station in society should've had better scratching options available to him

they have a list with DOB info for all of the dude's busted in the sting - one guy is 85 fucking years old, with emphasis on fucking, cause that's down right amazing he still gets off, imo

I can't speak to Fuzzy's situation, haven't heard how Denver really faired.
But up here in Ft. Collins area, it really wasn't too bad. Was pretty rough Wednesday, but we never even lost power, and other than some crappy roads, all systems normal Thursday morning
