it wont happen Joe if a penalty is called they play 4 on 3 if 2 are called they play 5 on 3

Ahhh hockey, where sense makes no sense. Can you imagine extra innings in baseball like this? Hey let's play the whole game 9 on 9, but if it goes extra, let's ditch the SS and an OF or two, that'll make sense. Or NFL? a sudden death 7 on 7 drill, seems like a great idea. NBA? One on one half court, make it take it.

Never mind those previous 9 innings, 4 quarters/periods and the rules that applied there, we'll pretend that never happened

Don't be a hater. Hockey makes perfect sense.
Baseball plays 9 players? Then what about the DH? Isn't that 10? ...Reach base on a dropped 3rd strike for the 3rd out... so now the inning isn't quite over (adding a 4th out). Yeah, makes perfect sense. Not.
Don't even get me started on basketball where every dribble is a carry. And non-shooting fouls get you a free throw.

DH isn't baseball, so don't get me started there. .9 on 9..and at least to first on a dropped 3rd strike is the same in the 1st inning as it is in the 27th...
and the NBA is as unwatchable/unfollowable to me as hockey is...but at least the number of players in the court is consistent

I'm the same way and it's kinda ironic for me as I lived and breathed basketball when I was a kid. I just can't stand it now.

Not sure if anyone watched the game in week 7 streamed live on Yahoo? But they used the CBS crew and graphics for the broadcast. So when they would break for a commercial, was just odd to hear them say, "You're watching the NFL on Yahoo."
