It may help if they change the formation for some running plays too. Defensively, you know its either up the gut or qb scramble, Tampa is not the front to make it that easy to decipher. I don't know too much about Detroit up front, but i do know their corners aren't great. The safeties are playmakers but their corners can get handled

My guess is this staff is already getting creative with its run game as we speak. JD5 cannot do it by himself. This week its Wylie vs a great pass rusher so I hope he is prepared and I hope he gets some help on the right edge. I also hope CRod is active this week, lots of heavy with Ertz, Sinnott and Bates in the run game. Ertz, Sinnott and Bates can all catch the ball as well so your not really tipping your hat.

Not sure it was the turnovers. Goff did throw 2 INTs but Baker had an INT himself. The Lions had no fumbles and the Bucs had 2, but recovered both. Each team also had 4 penalties, the Bucs 4-35, the Lions 4-71

The Lions had almost double the first downs, more than double the yardage gained and won TOP. The stat that jumps out though is red-zone scoring.

The Lions went 1-7 in the red-zone. They also went 3-5 on 4th dn failing to get a 1st dn or TD on attempts #4 n #5.. Given the time left iin the game I understand why they went for it on 4th dn the fourth time. They did get the ball back again and went for it on 4th dn again and didn't get, but the reason why the Bucs won, at least looking at results on paper. Is due to stopping the Lions from getting into the end-zone once they got into the red-zone.

Phew!!! Dude is next level far as pass rushing IMO. He was injured in week 5 I believe and still leads the Lions in sacks.

Ways the Skins can win this game

The Lions self destructing which is something I don't see happening.

Outscoring the Lions. Like they did the Eagles the 2nd time around. Again, very unlikely. Unless a key Lion player(s) gets knocked out like Hurts did. I don't wanna see anyone get injured on any team n I don't really want them to win like that either.

The way the Bucs did it in week 2. This is the most feasible way imo. Bend but don't break defense giving up yards between the 20s, but hopefully tightening up in the red-zone. A couple turnovers wouldn't hurt and I can see Quinn and Campbell matching each other 4th down for 4th down.

I wonder if we have a fake punt play. Too bad they showed the WR pass with Brown to OZ in the Dallas game. That should've been money and would be a nice trick play to pull out the baag right now.

Ertz has really picked it up in the latter part of the season. Still it might not be a bad time for a misdirection type pass to Sinnott or Bates. Same play that was an overthrow to Terry Mac early in the year.

Cuz other than the 1 yd TD to Sinnott n the overthrow to Terry Mac on a play Sinnott was wide open. I can't recall seeing him run any routes. And Bates seems open any time he's thrown cuz nobody us expecting it.
