In my scenario he would have Garrett and Luvu. I'm not standing on the table for him, but when Keim named dropped him on a pod last week, it made my ears perk up.

That said, with Garrett in the mix, I think Sweat and the Bama wall would all look and play different.

No Allen would probably have to get moved if they wanted to address other needs. Sweat..Payne...Newton...Garrett/Crosby

We can easily afford all three.

Payne cap hit is 26.17 mil this season. If cut, his dead cap is 25.8 mil so no we can’t cut or move him.
Allen’s cap hit is 22.3 mil and this is the final year of his contract.

After signing our rookies and resigning certain key players, and already considering Allen and Payne at their current rates, we have about 47 mil to sign other players.

Myles Garrett has two years left on his contract at 20 mil/season.

Not necessarily. Allen carries a cap hit of 22.35 million. If he is cut, he carries a 6 mil cead cap, saving 16.35 million. Osa Odighizuwa is a FA in Dallas, only 26 years of age, and has ties to DQ, so he is an option, plus we have Johnny Newton. This is also a very good DT draft class, so I can easily see trading Allen for a third and picking up a DT in the draft. Plenty of options.

I keep reading about how good this DT draft is with 20 something NFL starters. If we can get a third for Allen, I would probably make the trade knowing Allen is gone and having his replacement already on the team in Newton and getting a pick to replace Allen.

Mekhi Becton is the player I want the most in FA if he is 10-12 mil. He is huge and we need size to compete with the Eagles.
