Really?

TW's PFF grades from his last 2 years in Washington: 75.6 and 82.6.
TW's PFF grades from his first 2 years with the 49ers: 91.9 and 96.6. WAY better.

In BOTH his SF years, PFF graded him as the #1 OT in the league. His only 1st Team All Pro came in SF.

If anything, he has improved since leaving Washington.
Completely disagree. I watch him closely and he has no where near the movement skills and domination of opponents he had just a few years back. PFF is basically crap and I think we all know this. He was a PB in Washington and as you pointed out previously had a 75.6 grade now last year a 96.6 grade. Bunch of hogwash and if anything he is in decline. According to some, he isn't even a top 90 player for his former team. Maybe with his AP designation in SF he will be enshrined into their Ring of Honor, lol... So yeah, really.

*Don't take this personal Niner as I enjoy your input here. I'm just not buying TW's is better than he ever was and definitely not buying PFF grades.

Yea, "according to some" who so badly embarrassed themselves with that opinion that they backtracked almost immediately.

As for the rest, you and I will disagree. First ever 1st team All Pro...i guess those voters are "basically crap" too. Smh. PFF is not alone in rating how well he's played in SF.

What did that tweet say? I cant see tweets at work.
Caption:
The Washington Commanders wanted to trade for Andrew Luck after he retired? Apparently they considered making that call before they traded for Carson Wentz?

Article:
Luck’s name would surface in the news every few months –he was hanginig with a HS football team in Colorado, he was with RG3 at the CFCG, the Washingotn commanders wanted to trade for him, even though he was still very much retired—but the stories would soon fade…

This is how pathetic the Rivera regime is. It is reported they reached out to nearly every organization in the NFL.

So, we tried to trade for a retired QB before Wentz...LOL.
Niner Outlaw, can you name a more incompetent organization? I know Dean disagrees.

it said the commies called to trade for retired luck
It's just a joke here..geez

I wonder if we literally tried to trade for Mahomes. I have read we did and one source says we didn't. Knowing Rivera, he probably tried...LOL

Worst front office in the league.

The Niners in the pre Harbaugh era were pretty inept and would've given Snyder a run for his money. But these days...if you're making a list of worst 3 bad owner/front-office teams in the NFL, Washington has to be on every list.

I think most of us understand that. I believe Dean would argue with you on that though.

Yes he has played well in SF when healthy.

Well we needed a QB. There was no way in hell they were going with TH as QB1
So calling KC about Mahomes was good business by Rivera and made sense to you?

Cant answer that one.
I can see calling some teams. That is doing your homework. Calling KC, SD, and others is absurd to me and shows lack of direction.

I don't particularly think there's anything wrong with calling all NFL teams about a quarterback, personally.

At least then you could make the claim that you truly "left no stone unturned."

I would hope that the powers that be didn't honestly think that several of the teams would actually part with their qbs - KC, Tampa Bay, Green Bay coming to mind immediately, followed closely by Buffalo, Dallas, Minn.

I don't think that Washington was fooling anybody either - it's not like playing coy would help - the entire NFL world knew / knows that Washington needed / needs a qb. Might as well embrace the suck.

On the other hand, desperation certainly reeks.
