Just look at the hand RR was dealt. Were you expecting NFC championship game or Super bowl in his first two years?

RR himself said he doesnt have patience for a five year rebuild. Ok, neither do the fans. The bengals - perpetual losers who are, sadly, a comparative feanchise for the inept redskins to model themselves after - took four years, I believe. That’s also because their franchise qb got hurt in his first year - year three of the bengals rebuuld.

The offseason isnt over yet, but free agency has been underwhelming.

Make or break year for the entire franchise - fucked up ownership, fucked up new brand/name, older, Carolina North GM / front office / coaching staff, player performance on the field.

Did you read the article?

Again, are you a Rivera apologist? The article addressed the ownership, coach, and new "franchise" QB.

Rivera is on year 3 of his tenure and there was no improvement from year 1 and year 2. So far, our roster is worse than what we ended with in 2021.

When do we hold RR accountable and stop blaming Allen and Gruden?

Although not great it is not quite right to say the Bengals were perpetual losers. 16 years under Marvin Lewis they were 131-122-3. Six years with double digit wins, two years with only 4 wins and two with 6 years. The rest were around .500.

why do you hold RR accountable for losing Fitz in the 2nd qtr in week 1? You are expecting RR to make a star out of TH? Wentz is the best QB he has ever had here. So let see what they do this year. Let's say Wents gets hurt Week 1 and is out for the year. We have a 7-10 season. Are you firing RR?

Ok, I stand corrected. Perpetually mediocre, even with a good coach. Nobody was worried that Andy Dalton was going to lead the Bengals to glory, even with top notch talent along the way in the form of AJ Green, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Corey Dillon, Chad Ochocinco, Mohammed Sanu, etc.

The Bengals failings match the Washington franchise failings becuase they are woefully mismanaged from top to bottom - hence “perpetual losers.”
