It sure is a dilemma - A win on Wednesday night and I think the Flames are either in a wildcard spot or just a point out. Both Huby and Kadri have woken up and decided to play and the young kids are looking good (Zary and Pospisil).

It sure is a dilemma - A win on Wednesday night and I think the Flames are either in a wildcard spot or just a point out. Both Huby and Kadri have woken up and decided to play and the young kids are looking good (Zary and Pospisil).

Don't think they can let 3 good d-men walk but don't see any reason with some shrewd moves they can't do like Vancouver did getting Hronek and fill some similar needs.

I think it's much worse if they keep playing better and then at the deadline they decide to dump everyone.

Yeah, I think that would send a terrible message. I mean, let's face it, they are not going to be bad enough to get a Celebrini or somebody of that ilk. However, that doesn't mean you still can't make some moves to get more picks/prospects for the future. I just like the energy and intensity that the team is currently showing, they're playing so much faster this year.

These two teams sure don't like each other, but it was a fun game last night. Marky kept the Flames in it last night and Soros was excellent between the pipes for Nashville.

The fear is that the longer it takes for Zadorov to be traded, the more the warts in his game will be exposed.

Also, I don't like the fact that the bottom of the Western Conference is so weak (another way to look at it is the Flames are still in the playoff hunt despite not being a good team). Conroy needs to be smart here and do the right thing, get the best packages you can for assets like Zadorov, Tanev, and Lindholm (heck I'd even see if anybody will bite on Vladar) and let's start the rebuild.
