Also, Brendan Gallagher is a real tough guy when there's a linesman between him and Zadorov lol

The only downside to tonight's game was Huberdeau, I mean, if you're not going to contribute offensively, don't be a liability defensively and excuse the language, but don't play like a chickenshit out there either. Sometimes you have to take a hit to make a play and he's just shying away from contact, it's tough to watch.

Sounds like he would fit in here in Nashville. We have 12 F with the same MO.

Well, 11. Forsberg of all people, has a bit of a physical edge to his game.

lol - Markstrom barely moved on that Petey one-timer. That was some sweet, crisp passing by the Canucks.

A goal off the rush for the Flames (and it was a nice passing play to boot)

That was uncalled for by Pospisil, luckily nobody is the worse for wear.

AJ Greer is a really good 4th line player, nice skater, smart with the puck, an under-the-radar waiver claim by Conroy.

Im surprised that hit on JT didnt spark the Canucks last night and give them some energy to want to respond. I dont even care about the violent/dumb fight response at this point, Im talking about playing harder.

From the this-is-in-no-way-comparable files (but I will compare it lol), my sons team just got through playing 6 games in 5 days. The last one in that stretch, everyone was dead tired and you could sense no one wanted to play it against a team they knew they could easily beat (in Abbotsford at 9pm lol). They werent skating and got down 3-0 after 4 minutes. Then one of their players took a high hit and left the game injured. The kids were pissed and started playing and ended up winning 5-4

Yeah, I remember when the Flames were kind of dopey and then somebody on the opposition laid a hit on Iggy, not only did it wake up Jarome, but it got the entire time fired up.

/I think Pospisil also put a hit on Quinn later in the game and there was an immediate response from the Canucks.

1/4 into the 2nd period last night you could see the Canucks were flat. I think Tocchet saw that as well as the line blender was in full force.
