It will be interesting to see who becomes the next head coach of the Flames. My preference would be to bring in somebody new (like Mitch Love) rather than recycling a veteran coach.

I do wonder how much that same sentiment played into Johnny looking for somewhere else to play as well.

Maybe a lot more than I initially thought. Both he and Matthew had fine seasons under Dutter in Calgary, but it appears that was in spite of a coach who was a pain to play for.
