I mean, I think he got the puck first. It's a dangerous play though. Tkachuk should maybe have just skated though the goalie. What's the call then if Brady just lets his shin pad slam into Kochetkov's noggin?

But first and foremost Brady needs to start worrying more about playing defense and way less about blowing a gasket (deserved or not) when games are out of reach. Of course the idiot DJ Smith just threw him back out there IMMEDIATELY and did nothing to cool him down. But Brady needs to knock it off in games where they've shit the bed. Show some productive emotion before he game is out of reach.

He did get the puck with his body, but usually the poke check aims to knock the puck off the shooter's stick. In this case, he certainly did end up tripping Brady as a result of missing the puck with the intended poke check. I think that's partly why Brady was so miffed.
