Wasn’t the toughest schedule for those 5 games. Only one of those wins came against a playoff team and they had their backup in (although Igor hasn’t been great this year anyhow).

But winning those “easy” games is what you’re supposed to do. They do well on that west coast swing and they’ll be sitting pretty for the stretch run.

Assuming ownership of the CT Centre and the surrounding land is a part of it that valuation isn't crazy. If they get the Lebreton Flats facility underway with government eating a nice chunk of it it'll be worth a lot for development even after factoring in demolition.

Just gonna say that I find the number of potential owners from outside, at the very least, Ontario a little troubling. If LeBreton Flats doesn't pan out they would probably be far likelier to just move the team and lord knows Bettman isn't going to stop a pile of billionaires from doing what they want.

Regardless of whether to put stock into Garrioch’s reporting there’s probably something to be said for DeBrincat probably not wanting to be a 2LW and with Tkachuk there for the long haul this might just not be the place for him.



/if Toronto does end up having to trade Matthews this summer they might be the ideal landing spot for DeBrincat lol
