I heard LeBrun this morning say Pitts has reached out to other clubs to talk to their people they are interested in. Im guessing he was one of them. I gotta think even having Crosby and Malkin for a couple last good years would be pretty epic for many current GMS as well.

I am surprised since he is in year one in the official role. Wouldn't think he would want to leave or the Devils would want him out.

Just think if/when this team is healthy they will have to send their best defenceman back to the taxi squad.
Really shows how awful that Hornqvist trade really was.

They could still have Patric, who they seem to miss his energy, and have PO Joseph in their lineup.
Now with that trade they are stuck with Matheson and lesser extent Sceviour.

Nothing against Colton but this team would be better with Hornqvist and PO Joseph if/when fully healthy at the same amount of cap space.

Yeah you could state the "what if" with PO Joseph but Yannick Weber can give as much as Matheson does if PO Joseph had to be sent down.

I haven't heard anything like that. As tempting as having a few more years of Crosby would be I have to think Fitz is in a better situation currently with a decent crop of young guys and a ton of cap space. Could be wrong though, he may just love Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I can agree about the bottom stripe. But overall I do like them...I won’t buy one, but I rather like them.

Looks like Fitzgerald is out of the running. Honestly never expected him to leave NJD and truthfully he should have been the GM in Pittsburgh anyway but they left HOF GMJR around too long.

Funny that Jason Karamos's name is back since they just fired him. Wondering if the HOF GMJR departure wasn't as "nice" as we are led to believe.
