Can't believe they didn't let Yo MAMA on the ice enough to fight Rempe.

Refs bending over backwards to give the Pens penalties.
They are now officially the red-headed stepchild of the NHL. The favoritism is long gone.

Also had no clue they brought back up Bennstrom. :L Still think the conditional 2026 sixth round pick was the most valuable part of that trade.

They can't even tank correctly.

Let me see what AI thinks.

It seems like the Pittsburgh Penguins are going through a rough patch right now. They've been struggling with injuries to key players like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, and their performance has been inconsistent2. They're currently out of a playoff spot and have the worst goal differential in the Eastern Conference.

Some fans and analysts believe the Penguins are intentionally "tanking" to rebuild their team for the future by trading away veteran players and accumulating draft picks. It's a tough situation for fans, but it might be a necessary step for the team's long-term success.

Are you a Penguins fan? How do you feel about their current strategy?

And

Yeah, it does seem like the Penguins are struggling to fully commit to a rebuild. It's a tough position for a franchise that has enjoyed so much success over the years. Balancing the desire to remain competitive while planning for the future is a delicate act.

Do you think they should focus more on trading veteran players and acquiring draft picks, or should they try to make one last push with their current roster? It's a tricky decision, and there are strong arguments on both sides.

If you are going to call up Bemstrom and Ponomarev they should be getting more ice time than Acciari, Hayes and Nieto but not with Sullivan. :L

And their stays didn't last long as they recalled Jarry. :L

Oh forgot they are on their long break that just started. Makes sense for the transactions.
