Anyway looks like the rumor is Jason Botterill is coming back.
Yep this team is barely a playoff team right now and has no room to improve.Sacrificing the future is one thing, but usually it's done to try to improve the present. Interesting strategy to sacrifice both.
Well that is not good. Curious who it was against because the rest of the old WBS coaching staff is still in the organization at some capacity.

Oh so it was even from the prior group with Donatelli and Guerin. Well that isn't good for Guerin, Lemieux and GMJR./pg articles are sometimes behind a pay wall
Jarrod Skalde, a former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton assistant coach, has filed a lawsuit against the Pittsburgh Penguins claiming that his former boss sexually assaulted his wife and that he was fired for reporting the incident to the team.
Skalde alleged in the lawsuit that Clark Donatelli, who at the time was head coach for the Penguins’ American Hockey League affiliate, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, sexually assaulted Skalde’s wife, Erin, in the back of a car on Nov. 11, 2018 while the team was on a road trip in Rhode Island.
In the lawsuit — filed Nov. 3 in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania against the Penguins, the Lemieux Group and Donatelli — Skalde said he reported the incident to then-WBS general manager Bill Guerin on June 21, 2019.
On June 28, 2019, Donatelli suddenly resigned as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton coach, two days after he led a practice at prospect development camp at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. The team’s press release cited “personal reasons.”
Skalde alleged in the suit that Guerin, who in August 2019 was hired as general manager for the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, told him to “stay quiet” about the alleged assault.
The Penguins are saying Skalde was fired due to cutbacks during the pandemic but still this isn’t a good look for any of them involved. Looks like Guerin may be the fall guy here.Oh so it was even from the prior group with Donatelli and Guerin. Well that isn't good for Guerin, Lemieux and GMJR.
The Donatelli resignation was odd and this explains why now.
Was thinking this was with Vellucci and JD Forrest since they were promoted but they truly weren't involved.

Oh wow, I forgot all about that. You gonna be the guy to tell him?
