Not only was Johnson 1 goal from a hat trick he was 4 goals short of doing something Lemieux never did. Six goals six different ways.

1. Shorthanded goal - check
2. Even Strength
3. Power Play
4. Empty Net
5. Penalty shot
6. Own net - check

Ron Cook has about 3 brain cells left.
With that said Barrasso has a lot of high numbers in wins, SC wins and giving up a ton of goals.

Yeah, I would argue *I* had as much to do with those 2 cups as Tommy did. His best years were painfully average. He barely ever went above .900 sv%. 6 times in 22 years.

I love local homerwriters. They makes me laugh.

If you're going to put Tom Barrasso in the hall of fame, then you'd better put Mike Vernon in there as well.

Ron Cook is the worst.

Murray's rookie year(s) might be the only time the Penguins won a Cup with a good goalie. Unfortunately, Matt fell off since then (though I thought he seemed to be finding himself again this year).

Let me add this is probably the most memorable part of Tom's career:

Let me add this is probably the most memorable part of Tom's career:

I've been watching a bunch of games from the 80's and 90's during the lockdown.
Got to admit, I miss the days when stepping across the blueline with a slapshot was a legitimate scoring chance.
