Like when he took over for Lou though he does enough of his own boneheaded shit to make up for it.

He’s hardly the worst out there but holy shit the absolute race there was to hire him after he left Toronto based on some crazy reputation as a wiz kid just still gets to me.

There isn’t any explanation out there for needing to add Karlsson to this team other than he had no idea what else to do and doesn’t know how to learn from his or others’ mistakes. Adding him and Jarry and almost $16 mil of long term cap hit to this team’s already crazy cap bill was insane.

Yeah the Karlson mess makes no sense, but that could be argued that if Hextall didn't trade Mathesson and Marino that deal would never have happened along with Graves. As for the goalie they were stuck and had to keep Jarry around.

Do have to admit this draft so far is looking like one of the better in recent history for the Penguins with the talent they got.
