Imagine trading for a guy at the deadline who still could be multiple weeks away from hitting the ice...

I would say its a LTIR move but its not like they actually made any other moves to fill spots...

I hope Kane comes back early lol

Corey Perry is up to 16 goals this year - he’d be at 20 if McDingle and the pissy one weren’t such puck hogs.

He also accidentally on purpose ran into Otter last night - Later in the game, Rantanen got Skinner with a knee to the head on a fly-by. These two teams don't like one another.

I would say its going to be a great match up but I dont think the oilers get out of the first round this year.

I just saw Edmonton got blown out by Seattle last night.

Take away 29 and 97 and they are right there with Chicago and San Jose. Hell the oilers might not put up 50 points without those two.

It would be awesome if Vancouver would get their shit together and pass Edmonton for third place in the Pacific and let them battle out the two wild cards with St. Louis and Minnesota and hopefully miss the playoffs.

Edmonton could actually fall if they keep going this route. but Vancouver is its own worst enemy. I think they literally have only 2 allowable games to lose in their final 10 and there are 4 teams that they play that I cant see them beating. Lose tonight and the lady is warming up

No comedy here - There's someone in the crowd at Rogers Place having some kind of medical emergency which has halted play.

Hudson Bay rules tonight apparently.

Edit: Three blatant Oilers penalties missed by the zebras.

The arrogance of Oilers fans (and that's what Gregor is, he's just a fanboy that also has a column) knowns no bounds. I'd love to see either the Flames or Canucks close the gap and make things at least interesting.

He's probably right, but it just smacks of the entitlement and arrogance from a team that was so bad that they had to change the draft lottery rules due to their organizational incompetence. As I have mentioned numerous times, if there is so much parity in the league, then the 16 teams that don't make the playoffs should just be drawn out of a hat, every team should be out there trying to win every game, rewarding failure year-after-year is not the right way to do things.

I do not disagree. I can not stand any of their media. They would be bottom of the league if not for 29 and 97.... who scored the OT winner on saturday
