Exactly - Ethan Bear (selected in the 5th round (#124 overall in the 2015 draft) is in the lineup, yet Evan Bouchard (10th overall selection in 2018) can crack that defense. There were several concerns about Bouchard's skating yet the Oilers still selected him. It's not too late for Bouchard, but it's not looking good at this point.
