Will be nice to see Merzly get some rest. I mean 5 OT/SOL in the last 7 games? Holding a 2.08 GAA in his run and a save % over .930? He can't really do any more. Just hope that there isn't bad blood there. Because had Elvis started the season like he's played since Korpi's injury HE would have been at the ASG.

News is leaking out that Josh Anderson's injury is indeed season ending. Therefore any hope of trading him is gone. And he has arbitration rights as an RFA. He was a total dick the last negotiation.

Side note: The Blue Jackets EBUG is a guy who was asked to come out and evaluate the goalies at my Sons' school his sophomore year and spent the whole time trying to hit on some hermaphrodite looking college... thing. Since he did nothing, they essentially drew numbers to decide which goalie they cut and my son lost the lottery. My son has gone onto a better team and career, but still. Fuck that guy.

I hope he gets in the game and Duclair knees him in the face too.

No can do. Since Sonny scored twice in his debut the locals have taken that as irrefutable proof that he will someday battle William Karlsson and Anthony Duclair for the Hart, Conn Smythe and Vezina while saving busloads of puppies. We missed a great opportunity and our lousy scouts can't identify talent and our coaching staff can't get the best out of people. Should have kept him and that adorable face of his.
