Speaking of job security, do the Jets just want to continue to wallow in mediocrity with Maurice behind the bench?
They’re going nowhere with him, I’m convinced of that, but they’re tied for first in their division. They’ll have to falter more for fuckface to fire his buddy.

Guy gets away with a penalty, scores game’s first goal in the 3rd. Way to go, refs.

Garland looked like he's playing mini-hockey in his basement on that replay.

40 shots, 3 posts, penalty kill 3 for 3.
Can't complain too much about this one

Getting a bit too far behind for moral victories,
But they did look much better

Edit to above, as I posted it after watching the first two periods.
You can definitely complain about them not keeping the pressure up in third against a shitty team that played the night before

General manager Jim Benning shed some light on the Hamonic situation, and revealed why he said that he expected Hamonic to be at training camp and in the opening night lineup fully vaccinated when he spoke to media days before camp got underway.

“So, as I came in to talk to you guys, I talked to Travis before and he was on his way to get vaccinated,” said Benning. “So he was just on his way to go get the vaccination. He went over to the pharmacy, and had some second thoughts I guess. And then he went through some other struggles — issues that he was dealing with, so he took a leave of absence from the team to deal with those issues. And then he got the one vaccine and so now he’s got both vaccines — he got the second one a couple of days ago. So it’ll be a couple of weeks yet and then he’s classified where he can go across the border.”

I have no idea what that trade does for Vancouver but I would very much want the Leafs to be in for JT.

Wonder if Kerfoot and Holl is enough for Jimbo to figure he’s plugging two holl..er…holes with one swing. Maybe toss in a Hunter-era prospect for good measure.
