Plus he probably can't afford to re-do his backyard again
He can sell his Port Moody place to Kent Johnson …

and then Kent can redo the surface in canucks colo(u)rs …

sooner rather than later hopefully

I got a perfect "short" term solution at goalie for the Canucks.

He does stuff the white way.

st louis blues hockey GIF by NHL

A pretty good goal scorer also.
Even better he probably could go on LTIR by the time Demko is ready to play.

Here is a little sweetener to take him off the Penguins hands.

I had a panic until I saw the words "with the team"

new title incoming "Director of Goaltending" as per Kevin Woodley on radio

Ian Clark taking a step back as "he can no longer go on the ice" as per Canucks press release

/

“When Ian approached me to say that he needed to make a change in his role to transition off the ice, we quickly went to work to find a solution,” said Allvin. “With Clarkie wanting something different at the hockey club, we were extremely fortunate to have Marko in the system and ready to take on the responsibility of becoming our new goaltending coach in Vancouver. Unfortunately, Ian can no longer go on the ice regularly to do the things that have made him successful. But this new role will fit with his expertise and having Clarkie going out to find and develop talent will be a big asset to the organization.”

I just landed. All I see are Lamborghinis with L stickers on them. Which way do I go?
Head towards the mountains until more than 50% of the cars you see are teslas.
When you hit the junkie flea market of stolen goods, you have gone too far.

All I am hearing is reasons why you don't need Ian Clark in any capacity.
from the sounds of it ... Clark cant physically handle getting on the ice to coach anymore ... he's the one who initiated the change/wants to do less.

If its a health issue, I hope its not too serious for him.

In my experience it's knees. Not sure how much longer I am going to be able to go.

someone needs to tell @forty_three that we have public transportation and Ian Clarke is still not going anywhere.
I know you have public transportation. I rented a scooter from the sidewalk.

Your drivers are rude though.
