Will be interesting to see how Sprong handles the situation and if he back checks. If not he might spend plenty of time in Tocchet's dog house.
On the other hand if he works out well he will get a very nice pay day next off season.
Vancouver was his best option, this season, if he wanted to get a nice paycheck somewhere in the future.

He's no longer waiver exempt, so if they didn't see a spot for him in the top 13, they lose him for free anyway.

I think adrenaline and his lack of awareness about what was truly at stake kept him alive in the playoffs. I do not believe that Silovs as a 1A option would produce the results we need to be a true contender. I no longer think you need the greatest goalie in the world to win a cup, but you do need some solid goalies.

Demko is too damaged for me to trust that he will be there when it matters most. If there’s a time to make a change, it’s now. He could come back in December and be gone again in January for another two months."

I'm also not sure about the defence beyond the top pair. Tyler Myers still maybe eating top 4 minutes, well, asking a lot to keep up his performance from last year considering the other 7 recent years of his career lol
