meh. he's cleaned up his game a heck of a lot.

I cant' remember the last time he gave the puck away and sulked instead of backchecking.
those painfully slow and telegraphed powerplay back passes to Quinn are out of his repertoire as well

the contract is still going to be an issue before it's said and done,
but i don't have a problem with Jimothy Timothy if he keeps playing like this.

Maybe that was a bit harsh. I'm just not a huge fan of his.

I think he is a giant dochue, turning down a trade because it wasn't the right team and swearing at and calling out a teammate, who I put most of the issues in the locker room.

that being said, his new contract extension is pretty much TRADE protected.. lol

You can be mad at JT’s contract or the fact he’s still on Vancouver but he didn’t offer it to himself, and the fact he signed it and then had to awkwardly stand by while the team tried to trade him 8 months later and didn’t make a peep about it was pretty professional.

He’s also on pace for over 30 goals and almost a point per game

I will give him credit for that. wonder how he will feel in the off season when they continue to try to trade him

for me it is not what he is doing now, it is what will a mid 30 year old player do with that contract in 3-5 years. (2-4 into his new contract)... I have turned off all sports radio since the trade deadline as all this year has been is about trading players and contracts. I can not listen to anymore media peeps saying... if you cant trade him now then you can always get more in the draft......

I have no idea what is actually being talked about right now but I am sure it is about his improved play of late....

It was nixed because he wouldn't sign a long term deal with the Islanders
