a buddy of mine from work is very into cards, so i asked him for help getting my Gretzky's graded.
i brought in my binder of my best cards* from when i was a kid, and he was mortified that i had them back to back in the sleeves.
was worried about the pressure on the cards as they are doubled up.

he would have had a heart attack if he saw my other stacks that had been in elastic bands for years.
i encouraged by father to drink Alberta Springs rye, as those bottles came in wooden boxes that fit cards perfectly.



* best was subjective, yes there were the 99 rookies cards, but also a few Alf cards and KISS cards and stuff
