2nd most ice time for us last year, which is why they were afraid of arbitration.
That could have been partly showcasing though, as apparently they were shopping him at the deadline

He played so much mainly because of the injuries this past season ... and he was an LD not RD

If Benning didnt sign shit free agents the past couple years, the cap penalty would be inconsequential. 3 shmill at 3 years ??? Isnt that what Jay Beagle has left ???

He did ask to be traded but did so in a less controversial way than Bure did and Bures number 10 is retired
