not sure if they could have got a 7th rounder for Biega at the deadline when no one knows who he is lol but i think they should have tried to trade him and they probably didnt

He is what he is ... a 7th dman on a 28th place team ... but i get what theyre thinking ... practices hard and doesnt complain when he never plays ... they can sit him for a 2 week stretch and insert him into the lineup and he will play with more jam than any of the other defensive regulars. He must hit the smelling salts hard

I still think Holm should have got more of a shot with the canucks but it looks like Green wasnt a fan so they got their lipstick now

it was rather impressive that they turned a signing out of nowhere gets one game - into an asset.
of course, it may limit those "signings from out of nowhere" in the future
