not sure if it got posted somewhere on here but Jonathan Willis had a breakdown of all 30 teams and what player(s) they would be protecting/exposing/losing sometime last week

He figured Bozak would get claimed by Vegas

/commence cartwheels
Hahaha. I do think he'll be left unprotected and I do think he'll get claimed.

I'll be the first to defend the guy though. He got a horrible rap for a horrible coach trying to play him as a top line C. Last season he maintained his 50 pt pace despite losing Kessel as a wing mate and was much more responsible with the puck. He's a little overpaid but he's fine as a borderline 2nd or 3rd line C. Still surprised nobody picked him up (although the Leafs rejected a 2nd rounder from AZ two summers ago apparently, which was dumb).

Woah. Slurp city with Imac

So let me see if I understand this correctly - In a pre-season game where there are a number of players who will likely end up either being sent to junior or to the AHL, a veteran like Granlund had a pretty good game. Call me crazy, but shouldn't a veteran player stand out in a game with rookies and young prospects on both teams?

in my 20 minutes of watching, he was one of the guys that I thought was a bit too meek.
He (and Etem in the game before) have to be stand-outs playing against AHL players.... or they are AHL players.

Juolevi to Horvat to Rodin to top shelf.
a glimpse the powerplay of the future

considering Juolevi was supposed to be a boring dependable player...
- turnstyled Wengells as last man back on the powerplay (led to aforementioned goal)
- next shift, behind the back pass across the blueline to set up an open look for Tanev.

I like this kid.
(still will compare his progress to Tkachuk though)

I can't wait to see MacIntyre's gushed filled article on Monday.

Think you might need to compare him with Sergachev, too - he's been the only thing scary about the Habs all night. Great movement.

Matthews stripped him nicely a couple of times though, not that the kid should feel embarrassed by that.

The Stetcher spin-o-rama will hold his attention
Juolevi has been really strong all game.

oh, and i'm awfully glad someone found a name for the Rodin Horvat Baertschi line.
I knew there was something good there, just just wasn't clever enough to grab it

presentign: RoBo Bear.

Look out Granlund has a goal tonight. Might as well pencil in him for the Art Ross right Iain.

Ben Hutton just sealed up that award with that rush.

Gubberson's rough night continues.
it's been a game to forget for him.

sweet jebus, this is going to be a long season.

Gonna be tough for Hutton to get the Norris and Art Ross recognition he deserves when we end up bottom 5 in the league

That was a sweet goal by Hutton last night. How did he drop to the 5th round?
