Going by current standings, and maybe it's not as telling as it would be in years' past due to how fucking tight everything is right now, Canucks have a pretty balanced schedule going forward. Of their remaining 34 games 15 are against teams in a playoff position right now, 5 of those against the Sharks and 3 against the Avs, two teams they'll likely be competing for their spot against. That's a pretty straight-forward mission right there.

all monster road trips are done now ... theyve played the most road games in the league to date (27)

that being said I still want them to dump vets (prust/vrbata/burrows/hamhuis/weber) at the deadline if thats even possible

the kids have shown they can play ... and theres more in Utica who can come up and give equal contribution to the vets listed above

/Im still TEAM TANKCOUVER!

So I guess Willie D ended up making the right choice taking the Canucks job (and turning down the Penguins offer) as he's still employed and Mike Johnston is not?

lets hold off on that assessment until the end of this season lol

this whole play Prust v the rags because he gave them a better chance to win made no sense ... especially after seeing Virtanens game yesterday ... i think Willie D is loyal (to his veterans) to a fault and doesnt trust the young guys until Benning/Linden talk to him and then the kids suddenly get put into positions to succeed ... gee whiz willie , why didnt you think of that

/ive seen some suggesting this Baertchi turnaround is the result of a long discussion with Travis Green :noidea:

I have a cat that my wife and daughter adopted (it's amazing what happens when you feed a stray cat). I'll even deliver the cat :D
