How could anyone who really likes our team be considered to be piling on Haskins? We are all responsible for our actions and Haskins has proven more than once that his actions are not acceptable when it comes to being a professional in his line of work. In addition to this he has become a major distraction to our team that is on the verge of being a playoff team. Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

Washington has been pretty stingy over the years when it comes to retiring jersey numbers but I feel confident that number 7 worn by Joe would be a retired number if this were not the case. To be honest I think Haskins was disrespectful to Joe for even asking him if he could wear his number.
There's a legitimate reason to be disappointed, upset, mad etc @ DH. None of which has anything to do with what fuckin number he wears on his jersey. Joey T doesn't own the #7 jersey, it isn't even officially retired as you state. Haskins asked Joe if he could wear the number, Joe said he could. For whatever asinine reason that set your dingleberries on fire. I should've just let it go and I'm regretting that I didn't more n more every time I come back to the forum. That's what my dumbass gets though for expecting a half-ass logical explanation to some triflin ass illogical bullshit. My bad, homie. You keep on doin you.

Wow above. What I got out of this besides the fact that DH is a jack arse and disrespected his entire organization a 2nd time, is that as gracious as JT was to say "yes" to DH about wearing #7 was (I had no problem with him asking either btw), that DH's actions have definitely tarnished the fact he has disrespected JT, the #7 itself (because he is wearing it) his team etc and because of that blatant disrespect, he shouldn't even be wearing it. DH has done NOTHING in this league however, he said and gave off the vibe on draft night, "league done messed up". Exactly what an immature, inexperienced person would say because he doesn't know better and wasn't given the "humble pie" attitude somewhere along the line from mommy and daddy. The guy has demonstrated entitlement since day 1 and I think everyone including RR is tired of it.

Breed, why do you let simple opinions bother you so much? Say what you have to say (you normally do) and move on but above it seems like you take responses as a personal attack. #7's jersey should be retired and not sure why it hasn't but DH did NOT represent the number in the fashion he should have after being give permission to wear it. Not only should the "C" from his jersey be removed, his number should be change to a number other than #7 imo. You don't like that DH, too bad.

Respect and like your input Breed on many topics on this forum.
"That's what my dumbass gets though for expecting a half-ass logical explanation to some triflin ass illogical bullshit. My bad, homie. You keep on doin you." We all deserve respect and while that is earned, this statement right here is simply disrespectful. You should heed your own advise and "You keep doin you" and others will keep doing them without the disrespect of course. There always seems to be that whole, WANT TO BE RIGHT mentality around here and its perplexing. No one here is an NFL GM, coach, team official or anything of the sort. Some have football backgrounds, some have coached at lower levels and some just watch the game from a simple fan perspective. We all here should be able to discuss our favorite team (good/bad/indifferent) without cracking the whip or delivering verbal judo because a post simply doesn't line up with another posters line of thought.

Get a life dude and while you're at it try to learn that jersey numbers do matter in all sports. If this were not the case you would see current New York Yankees players wearing single digit jersey numbers or is this over your head?

I try very hard to show respect to others when I post here but when disrespect is shown to me I feel like I must stand my ground. I'm not talking about opinions because we all have various opinions on various topics and I'm good with that. Dad has said many times this is a message board. So I posted my message which was not out of line but breed decided to reply with insults included. So, to wrap this up, if you are reading this breed, let's just agree to disagree on our point of view and move on if that's okay with you.

Merry Christmas to all who post here!

Just for the record I started the #7 stuff. I thought he should have accepted another number. No one has asked for 9, 43, 44, 42, 49 etc. They aren't officially retired ... only 33 is. IMO it shows a lack of respect. Too each their own.

And, if none of this works go to your local sports bar that subscribes to Direct TV Season Ticket where all of the games that are live are being shown on various tvs at the same time.

I don't know how we can help him anymore than this.
I used Sportsurge two weeks ago great feed just slightly behind.

How exactly has Haskins disrespected Joey T or the #7?

Breed, why do you let simple opinions bother you so much?
I don't. At least I don't think I do. Though maybe my view is obstructed somewhat so I'll have look into that a little deeper. What I didn't like was what I sa w as dishonest discourse by tom. Clearly Cali (who responded to my question to tomcat) thought I was referring to Haskins selfish actions as no big deal and nothing to get upset about. I posted back to Cali explaining what I was asking Tom about and everything was everything. Tomcat responding to Cali the way he did concerning Cali's post directed me. Made it appear as if I was saying Haskins actions were no big. That was bullshit n a bitch move. That's what I was upset about.

Forgive me for adding my :2cents: here. But I honestly think this was all a bit of miscommunication and misunderstood points. Cuz both of ya are consistently fab posters that entertain and inform this board simultaneously.

For me, There are 2 points that got crossed, the jersey issue and DH overall behavior.

For me, (and I think Tomcat...) the jersey issue is just another point one can add to the immature label (personally I don’t think it reaches to the selfish level - DH is just that self absorbed imo)

The second point was my list of what I DO consider ‘selfish and immature’ behaviors that I believe we are ALL in agreement with.
