Broncos--I will be watching the Safety and Cornerback groups very closely. Couple of possible 1st round guys I will keep my eye on are Kyle Fuller of VT and Calvin Pryor of Louisville. Both guys I would love to see the Broncos draft 1st round. Late round sleepers I guess I can wait till after the combine to find a couple of those.

:agree:

Pryor is one of my favorites this year

Pryor > Clinton-Dix

Right there CD for my Eagles, out of the safeties I'm looking at Ed Reynolds out of Stanford and Pryor out of Louisville, corner Justin Gilbert out of Oklahoma St, no shocker here the Eagles secondary is crap, plus looking at OLB....

With how deep this draft is at the Corner position the Combine should be fun to watch with all of these guys. My guess unless Pryor just bombs the Combine the Broncos would have to trade up for him as he does seem to be rising quickly in the 1st round to now considered by many a top 15 pick.

Gilbert seems to be all over the place in the 1st round. I have seen him as high as 10 and as low as the Broncos pick. Going to be interesting to see where he ends up.

I think the other position that I'm interested in is the DE class and seeing how these guys do in the 40. There is some major athleticism at this position. Seems like DE's are expected to be just as fast as Linebackers these days.

Sleeper pick: Nickoe Whitley, FS Mississippi St

He underwent ACL surgery after the Egg Bowl. Hard not to pick a sleeper that people are going to largely disregard because of injury. This kid is solid when healthy. Arguably top 5 safety in the draft if he was healthy. His main issue other than durability is discipline (ejected in a game for throwing a punch). If a team can roster him while he recovers then they will likely strike gold. Kind of like Marcus Lattimore of LY's draft.

This is a deep draft all across the board… I could see even UDFA's being strong contenders for sleepers picks (1st year contributors).

Kind of like Marcus Lattimore of LY's draft.

I got a feeling more teams are gonna be willing to "ride" an injury out on these younger guys just for the simple fact Lattimore comes out like gang busters this year, sure it wont be top three rounds selected but in the forth all bets are off, and if this was projected higher before his injury I see alot more teams taken the shot...

I actually like the idea of a team at least drafting one guy that only drops because of injury every year then just red-shirting them so to say. The Broncos did this last year with Quanterus Smith who before his injury was being talked about as a 1st round pick because of his pass rushing skills but dropped to the 5th as teams knew he wouldn't contribute the first year. A guy I like this year in that boat is Aaron Colvin CB for Oklahoma. He was a 2nd round prospect possibly before injury and now is looking like a 5th-6th round guy.

Charles Sawyer is another guy I have my eye on. He is a bit small but is a great open field tackler, great in coverage, and has position versatility as he played both safety and corner in college and flourished at both.

Definitely agree… Whitley is definitely a 2nd round talent, but he has an injury history that could scare people off. This was his 2nd ACL surgery since 2011. Not many people will want to roll the dice on that… He played 2 full seasons after his 1st ACL injury, but he suffered the 2nd after the 3rd game of last season yet still played out the season. Pretty minor tear obviously, but still a concern. He finally went under the knife early last December.

The Steelers took a chance on Terry Hawthorne last season. He had surgery after LY's draft before OTA's/camp. He came back for one practice and re-aggravated an injury. But due to so many injuries at the DB position during camps we needed able bodies fast and had to cut Hawthorne. It was a shame because our DB's coach (HOFer-to-be Carnell Lake) and DC (HOFer Lebeau) both thought very highly of the kid.

He was actually one of my favorites from last year. Isn't he still unsigned at this point? I would love for the Broncos to give him a chance come training camp and see what he has to offer.

Yep another one that can come out and be a huge player when he gets healthy....

The same could've been said about Lattimore, and there was chatter last year about it, but 49ers are taken a chance, again time will only tell if he recovers 110% and produces like he did when he was in college...

Yep he is still unsigned… Word on the street here in the Steel City was that the Steelers were going to bring him in for a checkup. But I haven't heard anything since. I would like PIT to give him another shot.

Really I'm just looking for players to solidify 1st round grades. There are maybe 10-15 guys with solid first round grades and they are sitting above the deepest draft Ive ever seen. Somewhere in that depth, someone is going to rise above.

Ill probably be looking at the offensive tackles the most. There are like...10? offensive tackle prospects that could start in this draft. Thats nuts. The kid from Nevada, the one from Virginia and the two from Tennessee probably have the most to gain

You just named one of my favourite prospects in the draft. How do you not love a guy who does this?
