College quarterbacks that leave early for the NFL

Article on Johnny Football on espn.com made me think for a second. Is there any or has there been any successful NFL quarterbacks that left college after only two years of actual playing experience? I expect Manziel to fail at the next level as a rookie and a second year pro. His failures on the field will carry over to his antics off the field and will do something incredibility stupid to get himself suspended from the league. I see him being out of the league by age 25. He doesn't have the IQ needed to play at a high level in the NFL in my opinion. any thoughts?

I honestly can't think of any players at any position that left with two years of eligibility unused. My fear for Manziel is his ability to take a hit. He's an amazing player, but 2-3 hits and he might be done.

Well Newton didn't actually play much before going to Junior College and Auburn. That is the closest I can think of. Generally leaving early doesn't pan out well for the kid.

I keep wanting to not like Manzel. I don't like the attitude from a QB . I also think a lot of us just don;t like the little rich kid who's had everything handed to him be actually good . But I have to say he's quite a QB despite his size and he;s got a good enough arm. He's got the best footwork on a QB out there. He can't can't run and take hit's or he will end up like RG3 but if he can be like R Wilson of the Seahawks and just move to avoid rather than run to make plays i think he can be this generations Fran Tarkington

Well it seems like lately QB's that haven't started 3 years and leave early don't pan out. I don't think it's as big for other positions particularly RB the less wear and tear the better.
