It was against Mt St Marys, but Maryland looks to have great depth, especially the big men. 5 guys 6-9 to 7-1 who all have skills.

Congrats to Washington- man both teams played ugly, poor shooting. Disappointing for my Horns, but it was first game with a new coach, etc. But this is the only mulligan I'll give 'em.

As for Bill Walton: my game watching experience, while it would have been rough just watching those teams struggle, would have been much more tolerable if someone had PUT A SOCK IN WALTON'S MOUTH.

Yeah I hated losing game 1 even with a young team. But I can take solace in the fact that Belmont is far and away the best on that list. We will be the better team by January.
