Im fine with Kap. He had a lot of success on a team built like Denver is now. Price tag is right now is his trade value right... id give up a 3rd and future.... but not so sure a 2nd... we have holes we need to fill

We have a long history of working out trades with SF and I think we will in this case as wellI hope if Kaepernick gets traded he ends up in Denver because it would be the best situation for him. He would have a good defense and running game to back him up. He also needs good pass blocking in front of him. Kaep has a slow release and doesn't process things quickly so a good line upfront to give him time. The 49er oline went from one of the best a few years ago to one of the worst and it isn't a coincidence Kap's play went down with it. And people who say it was the loss of Harbaugh are wrong. His play was regressing under Harbaugh and Harbaugh's QB coach was our coordinator last year. I think Harbaugh was overrated as a QB whisperer.
Considering the O-Line will look a LOT different this season, according to Elway, that will be hard to judge. Hopefully he can acclimate like Plummer did (only a little better).Yup...He comes here he is in a similar situation. Not quite as good of an OL but better weapons to work with. He will have a top defense once again where he doesn't have to go out and score a ton to win. He will be in an offense that gets him out of the pocket just like when he had success with the 49ers. Go back and watch how they used him when he was successful and when things started falling apart. Same thing happened to RGIII in they tried to be what they were not. They tried to become the drop back passer and well it just didn't work well. So at least Kubiak's system sets up where a defense while respecting the stretch zone play has to respect that Kaepernick would get to the outside.
We can't trade CJ while he is tagged. The only way we could do it is if we matched an offer (from let's say the Fins) with SF's agreement that they would take on the contract and then traded him as part of the deal.Keep in mind they like CJ. I do think we could include him.... or could match and trade ... unclear on rules

Why's he wearing Osweiler's old jersey?
Why not? Would be a nice statement to make for Osweiler to see his old number being worn by another QB as we beat his Houston Texans to a pulp. Why's he wearing Osweiler's old jersey?
Remember the #7 is retired so he can't wear that number with the Broncos. Not sure though what number he would go with for the Broncos. I doubt 17 as too many people would remember Osweiler.

Kapernick is a turnover machine and doesn't really excite me, but at this point what else can you do? If obtained I will be hoping for the best. He has had some moments, it just hasn't been in awhile.
