As a guy who wagers in the NFL every year, I can testify there is no free money.

When I look at the list that is the only pick that I feel pretty confident about. I think I like St. Louis -4.5 hosting AZ better than any of the other four on the list.

Picking 65% against the line is pretty impressive, though, if he does in fact do that. Perhaps it's just Cowherd's arrogance or condescending attitude, but I always doubt his claim when I hear him pat himself on the back for so successfully picking against the line.

Agreed. Not to get into semantics, but my phrase "looks like" was intended as a qualifier. I'd still bet TB all day and just chalk it up to being tricked by Vegas if I lost.

I am half kidding when doubting his claim. Between the number of people who listen to him and the number who hate him, I'm sure someone would bring it up if he did in fact inflate his record. Still, the thought crosses my mind every time I hear his claim.

I'm sure they did. He won so many and so publicly last year I'm sure many are blindly betting his selections. The proper move as a bettor is wait for the line to move, pick your spots, and fade some of his plays.

That's why Vegas makes money on suckers like me all day..

TB needs a QB in the worst way if Freeman doesn't step up. that roster is really talented otherwise

Turned out to be prophetic. Think I may adopt that strategy for a few weeks, and see how it goes.
