The new Van Halen album and tour will be announced early in the New Year. Some rumours/rumblings about a Van Halen + Scorpions double bill. The Scorps are doing their final tour ever so I'm looking forward to seeing them, too. Would be a great night of guitar riffing if that double bill happens. Black Sabbath is also doing a final reunion tour as well. Can't wait.

I've been busy at work and haven't taken any major holidays the past couple of years. I've been trying to hit every major concert I could, though. In the past couple years I've seen:

In Victoria: Ozzy Osbourne, Anvil, KMFDM, Slayer/Rob Zombie/Exodus. Going to Deep Purple in February
In Vancouver: Iron Maiden/Dream Theater, RUSH, Pearl Jam/Mudhoney, Judas Priest/Black Label Society/Thin Lizzy, Soundgarden/Meat Puppets

I'm now a preferred guest at both hotels on Robson St that I frequent. Hehe.

So I bit into an Andes mint today, and it tasted like I was sucking rotten unpasteurized milk out of a dead cow's udder. I've had many an Andes mint in my day, and I know sometimes they get old and don't taste the greatest. This one however was literally the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. Ever. I have no explanation for this phenomenon.
