Patty Duke passed away today of sepsis from a ruptured intestine at 69, waaaaay too young.

Thoughts for Samwise and the rest of the family.

So, this "Panama Papers" thing is going to get incredibly ugly. World leaders, dignitaries, sports stars all named. Like The UK Prime Minister's Dad and Chinese Leader's Xi Xinpeng's Brother In Law. And Putin. King Of Saudi Arabia and the president of Dubai.

Plus Lionel Messi.

I can't help but notice the overall lack of Americans named so far. While some are saying that's an indication that Americans follow the rules, it's more a function of the fact that American billionaires don't have to go offshore to hide their money. Their own government creates rules here in the states for them. *cough*PO Box/Shell company in Delaware*cough*

I get to work this morning and the elevator is there, waiting. So I skip the steps and hop aboard. Push my floor (5) and off we go. Elevator stops at 2. Outside the door of two is a woman who asks "going down?". I say no.

She lets out a heavy sigh and rolls her eyes as the doors begin to close. Then *ding* doors open again.

SHE HAD PUSHED THE UP BUTTON AGAIN

She looked to be in her 50's. How do you live on a planet that long and not know how elevators work?

How Many of Me

Interesting, I have just learned that there are 37 people in the US with my name. Only 5 with Mrs 43's name. Kids; 1, 23 and 14 respectively.

Not sure what I am going to do with this information.

or fewer people with my name in the U.S.A.

I'm betting on fewer.

same ... surprised there are fewer than 120 people with my last name ... that seems high ... unless all those unknown kids my grandfather spawned in California during WW2 when he dodged Italian military conscription oddly adopted his surname
