Holy frijoles, he was only a year older than me.

He had a very, very scary type of cancer. If I do feel any sympathy here, its that despite how bad of a person he may have been I don't think anybody deserves to suffer as much as he surely suffered over the past two years. That must've been fucking brutal.

I've had a pretty decent week.

Last night, Mrs 43 presented me with our plans for our 21st Anniversary weekend. We will be going to the 100th running of the Indy 500.

Today, I got confirmation that my son has been accepted to a local prep school, one that has a great hockey program. He's been told he WILL have a spot on at least the JV hockey team next season. He will have a legit shot to backup their senior goalie on the Varsity team.

This program's varsity team made it to the State semifinals 2 years ago. And the JV team won 3 of 5 tournaments they played in this year. Plus, he knows JVs current starting goalie (teammates two years ago), and two kids he played with this season will also be going and playing. Two of his defensemen.

According to Los Angeles Police Officer Tony Kim, the comedian was pronounced dead at an L.A.-area hospital Thursday.
