in the clip from yesterday a witness said it sounded like the many avalanches that he has heard from the mountain.
don't recall him talking about the speed of it. just a massive low rumble that lasted 20 seconds or so.

Expo 86 might have stunted my education development as I skipped a lot of school for it late in the year.

That was Expo Ernie our little mascot.

holy fuck did I love that year. just learned to drive, saw Miles Davis in Concert at Expo 86 then my mom took me to a bar afterwards where Miles Davis came on stage for a set with his buddy who was playing. door man knew I was 16 but knew what that night meant. (fuck it Im putting in Miles now)
