get a kong, fill with organic Peanut Butter, with treats mixed in stuff it in the middle of the kong (you can freeze it so it takes longer) and the puppy will work it for a while.

maybe even enclose the puppy in an area like this while you are sleeping

Kong's are great. I think my dog is great now but he was a horrible puppy. He bit so much the first six months we considered getting rid of him. Kong's saved our bodies and clothes from his sharp puppy teeth until he grew out of it.
