Its an old New Orleans con that everytime I have been there someone has asked me.

I sincerely hope that when you are in New Orleans you wear shoes. I love it but I wouldn't say its clean. Then again the urine probably keeps the streets clean.

Have you been since Katrina? Where you there before it? If so how does it compare. I went a number of times but haven't been there since before Katrina.

The only time I went before Katrina was during Mardi Gras 10 years ago. So... The city was pretty dirty then for other reasons..,
