our site had no power, no showers, and the mens room was the closets tree

yeah man, it was almost like it wasn't camping at all. It was hot as hell, but with running showers nearby and the ocean just a cocks length away, it was a very enjoyable week.

ginormous amounts of booze (technically not legal there :-D ) and food, not biting fish, one snapped in half fishing pole (YAY! get to buty a new one!!), one boat....

my funny kid story for the day.
when she was about 3 or 4, she really took to the song I Don't Like Mondays, from the Boomtown Rats.
so she'd ask me to play it in the car over and over and over and over...
funny part was hearing this cute little kid in the back seat belting out "and the lesson today is how to die!"


so now (at 7) she has taken a new song. so far I've played it about 15 times in a row for her.

We just call in "the E-I-E-I-O song" and he's very happy

Anything is better than SiriusXM kids place live... there a song on there called something like "Monkey, Chicken, Duck" that makes me want to swerve into traffic.
