Busy morning! Yesterday we found a leak in our vacuum pump, and we had to fix it, so we took it apart, retaped the threads, and put it back together, unfortunately to no avail. Between that and changing the oil in the roughing pump, it took all day. So this morning we worked at it again, took the whole thing apart, and replaced a bunch of the parts. We put it back on, and it still didn't work, but at least at this point we were able to actually isolate the problem. A couple turns on the nut to tighten it was all we needed.

So this afternoon, we finally get to do research!

Oh, and it's still morning here.

I think that any and all beef sticks sold in gas stations should be clearly labeled as "dry and tough" or "juicy and moist". Nothing is more frightening than biting into a gas station beef stick, and not knowing if it's supposed to be all dry or not. I guess it would be even scarier if you originally thought it was supposed to be a dry beef stick and it ended up being really juicy.

Flight lands in Honalulu (i had to have spelled that shit wrong). That's about all I know. I'll find out some details today. I know they pretty much want to do kid oriented things while hey are there.

As far as me going, I'm trying to plan a getaway with just me and the wifey in the next year of two.
