I got on a youtube kick here last night in the Music thread, and I'm more of a classic/southern rock type of dude. But for all you Slayer fans, this is a lesser known song from them that absolutely rocks from the Less Than Zero soundtrack - a cover of Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Hope it works as the computer I'm on doesn't do well with youtube.

Another thing many people don't know is that Kerry King (Hope I got the name right) plays guitar on The Beastie Boys' Fight for Your Right to Party

yea he does some guest guitar work on a lot of shit... some gay pop bands as well, he did the guitar solo on a Sum 41 song, I lost a lot of respect for him on that one.

Sevendust is fucking awesome... I hate all the other bands of that nu-metal era, but I like the groove of their music, good rythym section. Im going to see Deftones in May, I guess thats one other band of that era I like. I've had Machine Head blasting from my iPod this morning, good stuff. Im gonna throw Sevendust on after though, good call.

Hve you heard the Sevendust track with Chino singing on it? I will post it here for you to salivate over until you get to your home computer:

This is actually the clip from their first DVD, Retrospective, which is badass as well, and well worth watching if you can find it online. Cool interviews and concert footage.

Southern Rock will never ever die.

I have a pretty badass Sevendust story as well.
