Sadly people prescribe to that sentiment and think it is the governor/president fault (party doesn't matter) but if the super majority is for the other party in the house/senate that leader has no hope.

Bentonville (well, the region technically I guess) has the nicest airport I've ever seen for such a small town. But my understanding from talking to locals when I was there was that Wal-Mart footed most of the bill and then essentially gifted it to the regional authority so that they could have access to a nicer facility.
