And I love this one as Alberta proves to be the Florida-Kentucky of Canada.

To be fair, Alberta is also home to Chrystia Freeland who will likely be the next leader of the Liberal party of Canada once Junior steps down. Also, I find Alberta to be more Texas north than Kentucky-Florida, but your point is still valid lol

That is more accurate for some reason I was thinking of Edmonton in general. :D

lol - Calgary and Houston are comparable in my opinion whereas Edmonton and Oklahoma City are quite similar.

That is the major challenge.

And the "larger" vehicles that are on the horizon like the Rivian R1S (put larger in quote because this only seats 5 people), Hummer and the full size Ford, Chevy and Dodge Pickups cost a freaking fortune.

EDIT: Never mind the Rivian has a third row seat option.

Question will you be able to get these in Canada any time soon?

And you have to love this one , to ge the more reasonable model you have to wait until 2024 and the HUGE IF they get production going.

And that’s assuming we get our supply chains etc. back on track.

If I stick with ICE I’m probably just gonna grab one of the Volvo or Audi options but if either of them could get their bigger models electric sometime soon it would be great.

I don’t think Freeland’s lived in Alberta in 30 years though.

That’s like saying Stephen Harper was a good Toronto guy.

Well, this summer will mark 14 years for me living in BC and I still consider myself an Albertan lol.

/Although the constant embarrassment from that province makes it tough to fly the flag.

I have been waiting for this thing for what feels like 15 years when they announced the next gen bus concept.

I just hope they build enough to avoid the waitlist. It's damn cool looking.

Edit: the first VW next gen bus concept was 2001 Detroit auto show.

Another good thread about the gas prices in the US.

So why aren’t politicians out there nailing these guys to start pumping more domestically and doing the exploratory work to get new wells pumping?

We all know why. That’s where the anger really should be.

So, by now you have heard about the Children's hospital in Mariupol that got hit and seen the videos of staff and patients running away from it.

Well, here's what Russia is telling it's people happened:

Gonna run out to the station and look at the prices at the pump falling 17%.

LOL - that'll be months and they will fall 3%

Made a comment in a conversation wtih my GA co-workers about the GA governor Forrest Kemp's executive order to halt the GA gas tax for the rest of the year.

My comment was: "What good would it do if the Oil companies don't lower the price at the pump?"
The response I got back was "Typical Libtard talking point"
Then he went on and asked me "Explain how the Governor of GA can force Oil Companies to change their price?"
And in the same breath he went on complaining that the high case prices are all Biden's fault.

I really didn't need to say anything else at that point....

NOTE: What is also sad the same talking points are response you get on social media. It is numbing how much they all follow the same narrative.
