It would have been my dad's 85th birthday a week ago (Feb, 17th) but he passed away about three weeks after Trump won the 2016 election. Although I miss my dad, I'm relieved that he was spared having to live through Trump and all his garbage. Dad hated the Russians as well.

Currently watching a live stream of anti-war/anti Putin protests in Moscow. Looks to be thousands if not tens of thousands of people. There are columns of riot cops going through the crowd, grabbing anyone who shouts anything and dragging them into unmarked paddy wagon style trucks. And there look to be at least 50 of those. Each one the size of a small city bus.
