Injured passengers found at the crash site were taken to local hospitals in Ahemdabad, Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said in a social media video message.

“Injured passengers have been taken by local authorities to the nearest hospitals. We are actively working with authorities on all emergency response efforts,” Wilson said. “A special team of caregivers from Air India is on their way to Ahmedabad to provide additional support,” he added.

There some horrible videos of this crash on reddit. One shows a purported surviving passenger walking to an ambulance. Mainstream media just hyperfocuses on certain click bait type stories.

Its like this ... school shooting in Austria 2 days ago ... 10 kids killed ... no real mention on tv news that I saw ... but then you google it and all media had the story ... just wasnt front page stuff ... even though its not USA, I think school shootings crazily enough dont create any type of emotional impact on the masses anymore ... if they did, we as members of societies would have done something more to stop them.

This happened in the Austrian city where the headquarters of the parent company my wife works for is located. The founder of the company built a public hall for the community for theatre years ago. That was used as a triage centre for the students who were injured. More shocking because of the personal connection my wife has to people who live in the city.

I didnt post this vid initially (numerous versions of it are on reddit) because it was labelled sole survivor and i saw your post that said survivors were taken to hospitals ... but its sounding now like there was only one passenger who survived and this is him and he was seated in seat 11A (???)

I think some people from the Medical Centre may have been mistaken for passengers but yeah I only see one survivor report
