JFC.....My sister who is 65 has had juvenile (type1) diabetes since she was an infant. Guess who was approximately 6-7 years old at that time.

Dipshit it existed prior and before the early 1920's people didn't live long when diagnosed.

I been around it my whole life. My older sister and bother both are diagnosed type 1 and so is my son. At 5 years old I had to essentially save my older brother from low sugar shock. As a teenager I witnessed my sister almost die from a high sugar shock coma. To this day I fight for treatment and a cure and hopefully before I die there will be something.

I think she's great. Goes all in, not afraid to look stupid. I really liked her in Step Brothers but also in a bad movie called The Goods. Rob Riggle played a little kid with advanced aging disease and she had the hots for him. He'd ask if she wanted to play matchbox cars with and she'd answer horrible things.

You know why he hadn't heard of them as a kid. Because we didn't understand many of them yet and they weren't diagnosed. We called them weirdos or put them essentially in prisons. Now we can actually identify and treat them because of science. Not pseudoscience, but actual science. What an absolute fucking moron. Not his fault though... because of science, we know that part of his brain was eaten.

Maybe that's why he's never heard of diabetes. Jesus christ. Here ya go, Mr. Secretary. Let's let a real scientist explain it to you. Spoiler alert: She doesn't ask you to buy anything at the end.
